In India we have corruption everywhere, from PM to the local peon. The powerful first family to the local mortuary security guard, everyone takes a cut. But what differentiates them is the way media treats them. When it comes to Rajiv Gandhi’s own corruption on Bofors, CBI bends the rules and goes the extra step to please the madam. And most of the National (comprising of Delhi and Mumbai) tries to toe the Government line. Afterall most of the News from likes of NDTV,CNN-IBN,Times of India,India Today,Hindustan Times,Mint  are pretty much planted directly from Horse’s mouth.

And the way they treat news of corruption is also tightly linked with where they are from, who they are and what gains these media organisations achieve by exposing them.  The likes of Sharad Pawar and his family, who garner similar adulation of the first family themselves. Sharad Pawar has been linked with several scams like Lavasa, Link with Dawood Ibrahim , 600 Crore Stamp Paper scam, Several Mumbai-Pune real estate deals and so on. But our national media buries everything surrounding Sharad Pawar one time close aide of India’s first family.

When Burkha Dutt’s nexus with Radia was exposed, NDTV insulated her by not showing any news on the story, instead blew DMK story to protect its own interests. The stunning way in which So called entire National Media blacklisted the story likes of NDTV, CNN IBN,Times of India, India Today , Hindustan Times  with their own nexus to various Delhi parties and business groups like TATA, Ambanis and so on. Only a handful Media outlets let the story out including The Hindu, New Indian Express (South Indian group) and
